A lively day covering St. George’s University of London’s (SGUL) annual Education Day. Dr Lesley Gourlay started the proceedings with an opening keynote on “Emergent learning environments? Spaces, devices and networks of practice”, which was followed by Q&A from the attendees. This kind of job always ends up as good exercise (!) hopping from room to room, due to group sessions running in parallel, in multiple locations and poster presentations taking up the lunch break. To be honest, as photographer you don’t really get to take much of the talks in, but judging by how absorbed and motivated the participants were in the panel groups, poster presentations and interactive e-learning segments it was another successful event. This was especially good for me being getting shots of thoughtful and engaged attendees virtually unnoticed.
