I was taking photos of St. George’s Hospital and St. George’s University of London (SGUL) Community Open Day. As was the case last year, when this first started, members of the local community of all ages were invited to see the workings of a busy NHS hospital and university. The day showcased various departments and services represented by guided tours, demonstrations and practical activities like blood pressure monitoring, peering through microscopes at interesting slides and giving injects and basic life support to mannikins… and lots of face painting!
