On Monday evening I paid a visit to The Plough in Homerton, for a Time Out shoot. It was a relatively new bar, replacing a grill restaurant that had occupied the venue for a while, that you could tell from the bare stripped back features. It was very quiet when I first arrived which gave me plenty of time to get shots of the venues and the interesting features, such as the bottle of Earl Grey gin (sadly never got a chance to try) and price boards and the ample record collection. There was a nice collection of bar food and local ales on tap and after a short while the place started filling up. The bar staff were friendly and the people gathering gave the place a good atmosphere. I’d definitely recommend the place if you’re more familiar with East London than me!
