Hello to you, and thanks for dropping by. My interest in photography came about in the Summer of 2006, after a holiday visiting family in Turkey. With them speaking no English, and me next to no Turkish, I spent most, if not all my time there taking pictures. I came back with a habit of walking around with my camera, which hasn't really stopped. It's a process which makes it a lot easier capturing things that catch my eye. Which is pretty much what runs through my collections; urban details and fixtures, strong colour and contrast, odd takes, and random moments. Apart from this website, I keep a larger collection of images on my flickr stream where I go by the pseudonym Chutney Bannister. I tend to use that website as a photoblog. Under the name Chutney Bannister, I've had photos appear in Max Magazine, londonist, FILE Magazine, FLAK photo and Utata.
